Part 1. The case assessment - Aims and Objectives:
- Gain tips on how to develop the right questions to gain the patient history
- How to create a mock up on your ipad, to show the patient the anticipated possible outcome in relation to their lip and facial profiles and teeth anatomy
- How to bring the lab into the communication for wax ups
- What principles to follow for the smile designing and what photographic protocols to follow as part of the records
Part 2. Mock ups and wax ups - Aims and Objectives:
- What to add into the lab prescription
- What to look out for in the work received from the lab and the differences and similarities between a standard wax up and a wax up for injection moulding
- What to do in creating the mock up and what not to do
- How to recognise errors and rectify them
- The features of the right mock up
Part 3. The live injection moulding in a clinical situation - Aims and Objectives:
- What are the characteristics of the ideal stent
- How to prepare the stent with the GUI tips
- The teeth preparation prior to the injection moulding
- How to actually do the injection moulding with tips on everything from inserting the GUI tips to how to withdraw
Part 4. The live injection moulding in a clinical situation completed - Aims and Objectives:
- What are the characteristics of the ideal second stent and use this
- How to deal with any voids or complications
- How to complete the finishing and polishing
