The ABC of TMD for GDPs

Aim: To provide an overview of diagnosis and management of common TMDs for the GDP

Dentists will be able to: 

1. Identify the signs and symptoms of common Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) and differentiate them from other orofacial pain conditions through clinical examination and patient history.

2. Describe and apply conservative, evidence based treatment strategies for TMD

3. Understand the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in managing TMD and collaborate effectively.
