Video: Growth Diary 16

Audio: Growth Diaries Podcast 16

We have explored growth in so many forms in these diaries. We have discussed how it can enable you, enable your teams and enable your business. We have discussed how the GDC can use it to change the CPD we do. The potential is huge.  We hope you have found value in the posts and are ready to join us on the 7th May for the TubulesLive. If you have still not signed up, please do find the link at the bottom of this email.

We now focus on growth for the team members. We wanted to add some posts to the growth diaries dedicated to the many dental nurses, DCPs and teams out there. We hope the previous posts resonated with you and now these next ones are specific to you. The last growth diaries were for the dental nurses and dental hygienists and therapists.

However, there are other members of the dental team that very few people consider a member of the "team". These are the dental trade.

At DentinalTubules we have never called them sponsors or trade. We have always called them Partners. (If you go to the menu on our website, you will see we have a Partners page). Partners are so important because without them dental practices and dentists would not be able to function.

Many times our Partners feel like they are seen as just sales people pushing products onto the dentists and practices. Yet they are working hard to provide something that maybe useful to the practices. Partners genuinely want to improve the dental practice and teams processes for better patient care. So this post on growth is for the Partners and their teams.

If you are a member of a Partners team, growth can also serve you. Growth can help you tap into your potential and help you discover your abilities in dentistry, around dentistry and out of dentistry.

As Partners, you visit so many different practices and develop insights into how different teams work in different environments. You can use growth to develop knowledge about the processes, and systems, of different practices serving different types of patients. You can gain a broader scope of insight about this in different practices. Growth can help you enable, and refine, the process of building that relationship with practices.

You may not realise this, but with your experience and interactions, you develop knowledge on that side of dentistry that many others may not know. Add to that - your knowledge about the products and materials that many of you deal with is often far greater than many comprehend. You add so much value.

Not only could you engage in the process of growth for your own development (as outlined above) but you could also contribute to the process of growth for the many teams and individuals you come into contact with. Using your insights and knowledge, you could enable so many practices to become their best at serving their patients.

Growth is such a powerful tool for you, the Partners in dentistry.

Our Partners section has been built so that education, and trade Partners can contribute to DentinalTubules, and gain in the process. We will be covering this at the partner's day on the 8th May 2025 in detail. If you are interested join us https://www.dentinaltubules.co...

(Alternatively if this growth diary is coming to you after the 8th May, we have a recording available).

Partners, you are not outsiders, you are part of the growth journey helping the profession in your own way.

When you do not engage in growth, and instead engaged in CPD, you are likely to overcome the 15 challenges.

If you want to rise above those 15 challenges and become a powerhouse in this rapidly changing world, join us at the TubulesLive on the 7th May 2025 as we unravel further.

It also has a list of the 15 common challenges – how many of these do you face?
Have a look and if the questions resonate, sign up for the TubulesLive at https://www.dentinaltubules.co..
