You wake up on a cold morning, forcing yourself to work. Sometimes you are exhausted or sometimes you just want a break from the day-to-day routine. Yet you must go to work. You know it will be a whirlwind of a day. It will be a fast-paced, exhausting, non-stop day but you garner all your energy to face it. It will pay the bills (hopefully) and give you a reason to do something useful. You know you have to put your woes, your tiredness, your lack of energy aside. So, you hide the tired face and paint on that magic smile, ready to step outside of who you are, to perform your role in dentistry for yet, another day. Those UDAs, those treatment plans, those policies, those admin tasks, those protocols, those patient queries – they must all be dealt with – much like every other day. It’s a constant rush, sometimes with very little break but it must be done.

Feel familiar? Experienced this lately?

You are not alone. Whilst there is a cohort who (on the surface at least) appear to be succeeding, there is a larger cohort beneath the surface who are struggling. Dare I say it, every single one of us is facing some challenge or another at some level. They are losing their inspiration and motivation as dentistry drains them further.

When DentinalTubules launched, all those 15-16 years ago, we spoke about education to the world. It wasn’t education on its own though. It was using this education, to help you get inspired, grow and thrive – no matter who you are, and what you do.

Alas we became known for “CPD” as we helped the profession steer through the new eCPD changes in 2018. Some know us for that tick boxing CPD and others know as a super online resource providing high quality CPD.

In all this time, the world has changed. COVID came and went, technology evolved, AI has shown up and things are rapidly evolving. In this rapid change, every person (worldwide) is facing new challenges, and these challenges are sneaking up on us quietly, without us realising it. We cannot always see these new challenges but we will recognise the symptoms.

If the title of this email resonated with you, then you have recognised some of the symptoms. You may be facing overwhelm, disengaged, stress, anxiety, confusion, uncertainty or feeling stuck in a non-rewarding or unfulfilling place.

In the face of these changes, we have to evolve too. Dentinaltubules begins it’s evolution – to help you overcome these new challenges in this new world so that you can inspire, grow and thrive again. Isn’t that what you want?

To find out more, join us at TubulesLive on the 07th May 2025 as we unravel further. It also has a list of the 15 common challenges that we spoke about in the previous communication to you – how many of these do you face?

Have a look and if the questions resonate, sign up for the TubulesLive at https://www.dentinaltubules.co...

“But what about the CPD side of Dentinaltubules?”, you may ask. It is not going. It is also evolving. I will tell you all about that in the next instalment of this series of posts.
