I lead an organisation that educates and inspires dental professionals. Some of my dental colleagues face particular challenges with corporates or multi practice sites. I wondered how much of this is true?
This is what I have been told. Can you confirm or disconfirm?
They are finding that corporates have taken over businesses. Corporates are not really focused on letting professionals do the ethical, right thing but are more interested in pushing numbers.
1. This is leaving many professionals unfulfilled and unhappy as they feel they can't do things properly. Like they are being rushed or having to cut corners.
2. It is making them question their decisions as they feel that the ethical boundaries are being compromised.
3. In that chase for profit, many professionals are seeing patient after patient after patient and are totally tired and exhausted at the end of the day. Plus feeling burnt out.
4. Some are feeling like they are not growing, doing the same thing again and again leading to a sense of monotony.
All these can lead to burn out and disengagement.
Do you feel this?
