• Mesial cantilever vs distal cantilever: evidence-base, mesial drift, overeruption
• The 4 steps in planning bridgework:

1. Design of the bridgework, anterior first, then the posterior
2. Choose your abutment teeth
3. What design, F-M, F-F, cantilever, multiple abutments, coping design
4. Retainer type for the abutments, crown, inlay, onlay, Maryland wing

• Live planning for a fixed-movable bridge: longevity, minimal prep, aesthetics
• Stress breaker: male component, female component
• Laboratory instruction
