This is part 3 of the Endodontic Series. Problem solving in endodontics Part 1.
Aims and objectives:
- How to manage more complicated endodontic problems
- Understanding the assessment process in complex endodontic cases including periodontal pocket, restorability assessments, and the equipment needed to allow for a thorough detailed assessment
- An overview of the most common challenges in endodontics and how to overcome and manage these. The challenges will include calcified canals and complex canals
- The tips for successful treatment including tips on irrigation and access
- An overview of how to manage complications such as perforations, fractured and separated instruments, missing anatomy (such as MB2 canals), and post removals
- A discussion about one visit vs two visit
